Magneceutical Health™ Launches into Spa Market Leading the Trend for Integrating Wellness and Technology

The Magnesphere™ to Premiere in September, 2016 at the International SPA Association Conference & Expo http://www.Magneceutical.com

A one-of-a-kind platform that's part of the trend of integrating wellness and technology is set to become a valuable part of the spa industry. The Magnesphere™ from Magneceutical Health™ offers a whole-body immersion utilizing precise, low-level electromagnetic fields to enhance feelings of relaxation, which helps address chronic stress and its primary symptoms of pain, inflammation, digestive issues and sleep disorders. The technology is pain-free, drug-free and will officially enter the spa market in September during the 2016 ISPA Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.

This technology comes to market as the 2015 Stress in America Survey shows more than one-third of adults report their stress increased in a year's time from 2014 to 2015*. Magneceutical Health Founder and CEO Allen Braswell, Jr. explains why he's taking the brand into the spa marketplace, "Given the importance of the global wellness initiative in the spa industry, the Magnesphere System provides spa owners and directors a strong foundation for addressing chronic stress and its symptoms for guests and members, without the need for additional staff."

Braswell and his team developed the Magnesphere (pictured) as a platform to help people improve their health and wellness through the use of natural and holistic magnetic fields. Sessions in the Magnesphere last 30 to 60 minutes and allow guests to relax while fully clothed, oftentimes, encouraging sleep.

In a spa setting, the Magnesphere creates a revenue stream that doesn't require a therapist and is easy for the guest to use, "This new technology benefits wellness properties and guests because it is simple and low maintenance. The Magnesphere can be used as a stand-alone service or packaged with a massage (pre- or post). Importantly, from the property perspective, there are no labor costs, product reorders, linens to replace, or client complaints due to practitioner issues" adds Braswell, who suggests the Magnesphere also helps address the constantly dwindling supply of quality Licensed Massage Therapists available to spas.

The Magnesphere works based on scientific principles related to:

  • Magnetic Resonance Therapy and Stimulation of the Vagus Nerve. With precise, physiologic magnetic fields which produce a balancing effect on the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its two branches: Sympathetic ("fight or flight") and Parasympathetic ("rest and digest"). This affects what is known as an individual's "vagal tone." A higher vagal tone is linked to physical and psychological well-being. A low vagal tone is linked to inflammation, depression and heart attacks.
  • Heart Rate Variability. By tracking this proven biomarker, which is linked to balancing the ANS, therapists can determine which magnetic field(s) are best suited for their guests and help improve symptoms that have been exacerbated by chronic stress.

All media are invited to stop by the Magneceutical Health booth (#244) and experience the service in person at the ISPA Conference & Expo, Sept. 13-15 in Las Vegas. More information may be found on www.Magneceutical.com.
