Following a few words from our CEO (Charlie DuBois) and LT. Governor of NC, Dan Forest, the press will have an opportunity to ask some questions, tours of the facility will be coordinated and lunch hosted.
Seminar Speakers
Mary Ann Lila, PhD, Director, Plants for Human Health Institute and Professor North Carolina Status University
– on behalf of the University, the site, Lila will say a few words about how important this campus is as regards the advancement of nutrition in health and wellness, the importance of collaborations with companies (like SP) and how these collaborations help advance the impact that whole food nutrition can have on health.

– on behalf of the health community, Pilkington will say a few words on the importance of community health models in delivery of wellness programs for the area, how advanced insights in the practical use and applications of nutrition play an important role in health management and how the collaborations you have with groups on campus have fueled this and how you would look forward to expanding collaborations to further advance whole nutrition for healthy living and welcome SP to the campus and community.
At 1:30pm and following lunch, we will host the Healthcare Seminar (speakers above) – seminar speakers will go through 4:30 or 5:00pm. A cocktail reception will be hosted at the end of the day.
